With branch image capture, documents are quickly and easily scanned into the system at the back counter using a compact digital imaging device. Throughout the day, batches of checks are captured where CAR/LAR recognition technology reads amounts; operators’ key hard-to-read amounts and transactions are balanced. Once balanced, items are electronically transmitted to the 21^st data center for cash letters preparation and electronically exchanged for the best possible funds availability.  All items will be branch truncated, including deposit tickets and checks.
